Our Approach & What to Expect on Your First Visit
Any one or combination of these therapies may be beneficial in aiding certain conditions. When you arrive for your visit, our staff will consult with you on which of these methods may be of benefit to your injury/ailment and overall wellbeing.
Therapeutic Ultrasound
Therapeutic Ultrasound helps very well at reducing pain, increasing circulation, reducing inflammation, decreasing the amount of time for an injury to heal and increasing overall range of motion of the soft tissues.
Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS)
Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) helps with acute and chronic injuries. It decreases tight musculature, increases overall range of motion of the joints, reduces pain, improves blood circulation which helps with the healing process.
High Volt
High Voltage pulsed current is mainly used for wound healing such as decubitus ulcers, incisions, burns, scrapes, etc. It also works very well with trigger points, edema, body discomfort, and much more!
Short Wave Diathermy
Short Wave Diathermy is a therapy used to treat pain from kidney stones, Pelvic inflammatory disease, respiratory infections, and has a therapeutic benefit to pain caused by aggravation to superficial bones, joint capsules, ligaments, tendons, muscles, etc.
Hot Packs
Before treatment, most of our patients receive a hot pack to increase circulation, reduce muscle tension, and increase range of motion to make the patient feel as relaxed as possible.
